Catch up with the family

Good evening all you little Blogerettes out there. A short post tonight. Thank you so much for all your lovely birthday wishes, I am chuffed to little mint balls by your kindness. I took a break from the summer house today, and went to visit family in the Midlands. Nothing much to report. Aunty has a breadmaker and I got to sample some of her gorgeous nutty brown bread. Uncle had a fall and has pulled a muscle in his back, so that's giving him some agro at the moment.

He has an exhibition of his paintings coming up soon in June at the Library in Burton on Trent. Pretty amazing that he can still enjoy his art at almost 93 years old, and put together a collection of 41 pieces to show. As usual the money from the sales will go to the Air Ambulance. We were talking about charities harassing people, and he said he never gets any begging letters from A A, so that's good to hear.

I took my landscape picture for uncle to see, and tell me what he thinks of it. I knew it wasn't quite right, but I couldn't put my finger on why. Now I have his feedback I can decide my next move. I need to make changes, it's not working as it is.

I was up at 5am this morning so I'm beginning to get tired now. Spose that's what happens when you get old. My goodness, sixty chuffin six. How come I am only 32 in my head? Where's all the time gone? Off to bed. Toodle pip
