Fun night with fab friends

Ooooh, my head this morning :o(  Ha ha, only kidding :o)) I had two bottles of J20, it was red berry juice with glitter in it. Yes, glitter, you have to shake the bottle before you pour it out, and the glitter floats around in the drink until you have finished it. It is yummy. Karen had a bottle of cider which looked red rather than the normal golden colour. It had berry juice and a dash of lime in it, wow was that lovely. I will look for that in the supermarket. It's nice to see more variety in the non alcoholic drinks now, plenty of choice in the J20's.  At one time the designated driver would only have a choice of coke, or some kind of cordial in a glass of lemonade. I always opted for lemon and lime or lemon and blackcurrant. The driver usually had a pretty boring night, but not any more.
Here we have some of the gang about to start eating, the empty seat on the left is mine. There was ten of us, some I hadn't seen in over three years. It was good to get together again.
Tuck in Nick and Martin.
The boys sat at one end and the girls the other. We had lots of girly giggling going on. Can't say too much about that but it was funny. You may guess that the hot topic was men, ha ha.
Martin and Karen.
Lots of happy faces.
It's a long time since I was last at Arties Mill, and I must say that the standard is pretty much the same as it always has been. You don't pay big prices for an artyfarty small portion of played around with food, like some of the posh restaurants. The food here is reasonably priced, £6.95 for a veg curry, it is well cooked, big pieces of veg in there, not mush, and you get plenty of it. Choice of rice or chips, or both. I didn't manage to eat it all, they gave me a plastic box to bring the rest home. I shall warm it in the microwave for lunch today. Yum.
Here is a link to Arties Mill. It's a nice place for families in the summer, you can sit outside. There are 24 bedrooms if you want to stay. You can have bar snacks or a full carvery, and the food is freshly cooked. No I didn't get a free meal for giving it a good review, ha ha. I speak as I find.
